Me either. There seems to be no reason to. No reason to collect those idols. No reason to level up. They took all the items you could find in the world and stuck them in a vendors inventory so, no real reason to search, just buy it. I about shat myself when I got to a mission where they wanted me to go vandalize 726 billboards. Even though it didn't play out that way the thought of it was demotivating.
You don't wanna be Trans in Yara? I wanted to shoot it in the face but, politics. BS brought nothing to the story. Just garbage filler.
There are some weapons/gear that can only be accessed from missions: 1911, desert eagle, the triada supremo & gear..
But yeah you can get the gear you want fairly easily, after that it's all just killing and.. the story..
But hey this a Far Cry game, they all have bad stories and it's usually not worth doing everything.
Theres no progress at all, you go from tutorial to "i win" in one step.
Or how with the right camp upgrades there's always a laptop somewhere near every base in a good overlook position with intel on the bases security system. They don't even patrol their bases perimeter, let alone destroy enemy intel in obvious places.
That's pretty much my experience too. Towards the end I was skipping cut scenes and just mowing the missions down. I lost all interest in the ridiculous story. The crap Castillo is doing holds no weight, he is mostly absent. I ran through the entire game with one load out, occasionally whipping out a rocket launcher but, the combat gets stale real fast and the dialogue is just cringe. I felt nothing when a main character died and neither did my binary counterpart. Dani, could be a one or a zero. Definitely not a hero. And they gave me para drops right away, negating any real need to explore the map. I just drop down to everything. I got a chuckle when an NPC tells me "it's crawling with guards", I get there and there are three to four guards and maybe a dog. SMH
Yup. I used two guns the entire game. Was no need to seek out or upgrade anything. It's like they added what could have been RPG elements then made them unnecessary. The game defeated itself
