honnestly speaking this game and all games like it are good enough at 60 frames per second, just turn of the frame counter and you'll realise that fps has nothing to do with enjoyment unless you are playing pvp games. so for your own good just forget about it unless you have dips under 60 since they are so obvious it hurts (only had them once but when i had them it felt horrible for 5 seconds). be happy your games run 60, expect all games to run at 90 and be surprised if they run above 120. and then turn off the the fps counter and enjoy the game without being distracted by some stupid number
not really, the difference going from 60 fps to 100+ fps on a GSync monitor is NIGHT and day.... everything is so fluid and smooth, game input is also much faster, maybe 60 fps on a 59.9hz non G/Async monitor seems smooth to you, I used to think the same before I bought a gsync monito, the difference was mind blowing, going from 60 fps to 100 fps on a non gsync monitor I would agree with your comment there, it's pointless and only causes screen tearing. So, if one day you happen to try out a gsync monitor I hope you can understand why 100+ fps is important to us gsync or freesync crowd :)

I run 100fps on alot of stuff on a Asus VG248QE which is 144hz but not a Gsync display, No screen tearing of any kind, because asus has a feauture called "TraceFree" I have it set to 80 and it counters the screen tearing https://techmindy.com/trace-free-on-monitor/

though right now I have my games capped to 60 since its summer time it helps keep the heat down in my room

that's pretty good tech, didn't even know that existed, very nice! as for heat it can be a bit much especially if your like me and got a lian li 011 case with the worst cooling in the planet xD

I am using a 300 hz screen (with gsync btw) and i don't see a difference mate, your standards might just be a bit high. I don't come from a extremely wealthy family meaning i have played mainly on consoles before i had a proper good gaming laptop that can do above 100 in most titles but ever since i got the steam deck i looked at my deck and my pc and i realised that 60 fps is just as good as anything above it unless you play pvp shooters. So yea 30 to 60 is night and day but 60 to 120 is not. I don't think i'll ever complain about a game going below 100 fps but i will complain when a game is NEARLY 200GB when the game before it was just a 3rd of that size

Yea I would hate a case like that, no front intake or side intake fans, also tempered glass can and will shatter and acrylic will scratch which is why I stick to solid panels

as for heat it can happen even with a case that has good cooling and exaust on it lol, I have an antec 302 (not sold anymore) and a Fractal Design Define R5 (still available today) and they both get the heat out of the system so fast it warms up the room

rtx 4080 running on 110-120 fps average...
Geo 2023 年 6 月 18 日 上午 6:49
to add to the list of performance issues, as I hit the last few missions of the game, the stuttering was insane in open areas no matter what graphics settings used, another stutter bug was picking up ammo caused random stuttering... in a room full of explosions fire gas and lots of enemies no performance hit? end result is unless you have capped ur fps to 60 fps this game has big fps dips as mentioned above (low to ultra made no difference), could be a HD Textures issues? who knows... great game, a couple performance let down but not major enough that stops you enjoying the game :)

I'm rocking an EVGA 1080 Ti with 11gb and I can set everything to max and still have zero lag....go figure!
Me too! Do you also have the FTW 3 edition?
Rootiga 2023 年 6 月 21 日 下午 6:49
your problem seems to have begun when buying a 40 series
SiXX 2023 年 7 月 24 日 下午 2:11
it's the dunia engine...you can have the most
powerful gpu but it doesn't care, you need a very strong cpu to play this with high fps and less frame drops.
