Most horrible intro mission!

this must be the most untalently made and annoying begining of a game in the Far Cry series.
You have to sneak, you can not use run or any other input and you are insta dead with one shot. I was trying to check out the game while having a movie on the other screen and I died already 3 times in that first 2 minutes in the game because its stupid mechanics.
Jesus christ I hope a dev is reading this. Please dont do such annoying missions in the beginning.

Somehow I also get falshbacks of Far Cry New Dawn with all those focus on the colors pink and blue. New Dawn was probably the most horrible Far Cry I played. I hope that team was not majorly involved in 6!
I still give it a try though. Let's see how later content is.

It was ridiculously easy and there was several points you could - and should - run. In fact you're told to run. It's not the games fault you're watching a movie instead of playing it.

You could literally do the beginning mission with one arm. The fact you died at all is the funny part.

I can't even get passed the first mission, It always freezes as soon as i get to the bottom of the stairs and then closes me out to desktop. Is there a fix for this?

First time I played, I could jump and crouch but wasn't able to move at all, so just held "w" until what I assumed was still a cut scene ended when a soldier walked up to me and killed me. When the game reloaded, I was able to actually move.

Now I'm 87 minutes and two crashes into the game since then...

It really set the stage for what to expect, stability-wise!

Also the graphics are really not that good for the demands it has onto cpu and gpu.
I have barely 90 fps with an 4090 on ultra settings.

OP if you don't like stealth in the beginning mission you may as well refund it cause several missions even later in game require it too

Nobody said anything about "not liking sneaking". The game design is afwul and the sneaking is implemented in an annoying way.
I like sneaking in general when the game does the implementation well.
