how many people can play together in co-op?

the game suggests it is a 2 player game in co-op when it states "grab A friend". is this a 4 man group game?

2 player team. Just like Far Cry 5.

thank you, i have never played Farcry , i might get it for solo play rather than trying to talk my friends into pairing up. not all of us are at the same level of gaming and its like getting picked for dodgeball again, no one wants to be paired with the worst player

nah don't think o hard about it - put the either the people who get along the most or best and the worst together - I'm confident in my skills and i don't a newbe as a co op partner, hell most matchmaking games are filled with bad players

If you want co op, Dying Light 1 gave so much more value over far cry 6, maybe 2, but story was not meant for co op, just bought on steam to try online out.
