Is this game actually good?

From the cut-scenes i watched it mostly has cringy main characters that i didn't like, the usual western corrupt dude that helps the bad guy and then the main villain who we secretly root for but end up dying anyway. Did i sum it up right?

unpopular take but it's better than 4 and 5 i hated both, really dumb games, this one is bad too but I had more fun

It is immersive. Being a guerrilla feels far more grounded than fighting an isolated US cult. And characters are fun, except Maximas Matanzas.

It's certainly well done but:
- Hunting is no way a great shooting gameplay no matter the FC3 hunt.
- It's only for first parts of the game and past it this is crap achievements a bit like kill an elephant with a kitchen knife.
- It's heavily based on starting with very weird limits like inventory size, ammo amount, number of weapon, I suspect such gameplay choices will have difficulty to be in a recent release.

It's very rare in FC3 to be able do it, and it better be rare because it's a total junk UI design requesting micro move to either switch gun on ground either pick loot in corpse. It's worse in FC1&2&3&5. It's less worse on that in FC6.

I don't know where you quit your play but it must be note that FC6 did the same design error than Diablo 4. Both have a main story starting with a relatively short first part, and then continue with 3 parallel parts. If it clearly fits better an open world design (yep even D4 moved to it), it's creating many potential troubles for players to be grab by each story.

I would suggest, to try pick one story, and focus make it progress only it up to its end, to have more chance that the writing isn't damaged by spreading excess through too plenty stories.

For side quests in FC6 they are the Yara stories, overall as quest they tend be a bit short for most, but some are really touching, and for sure some are funny, deadly too serious games isn't good games.

FC1 is league better than all but a different blueprint, it didn't even aged that badly last time I replayed it.

Then FC3 much better than FC2, and if FC3 has a strong lite survival mood, no way I remind that from FC2.

I never played FC4, so then FC6 but no I don't love FC6. And after that, FC5 and FC2, yes the worse of the series for me.

Yeah subjectivity.

The people who like FarCry villains are generally the same people who write about Fight Club one-handed. Seriously, trying to play through FC3 was a slog because the Villain was so god awful, despite people with the intelligence of a reptile claiming him to be such a uber super cool villain maaaaaan. He's so wiiiild and CRAAAAAZY! WHOOOO! The villains are on the same level as Borderlands characters.

Agree that overall the FC6 writing is more adult and mature, but then some woke choices and humor choices can hurt some and make them feel FC6 immature.

One point to quote is the anti woke choice to only have males that have enough to go against classic social conventions, the writing saying the females aren't yet at this level.

sorry cupcake just because my opinion of a game upsets you when I respond actively to an active post discussion like "is this game bad?" or "why does everyone hate this game?" doesn't mean its not allowed just because you dont like the opinion or you feel like I owe you an explanation of why its my opinion.
