I must say for an benchmark tool like this one its to expensive. Can it programm something - no, can you do usefeull thing with it which helps to get you PC run faster - no.
Why all you programmers think you can make heaven prices, only because there are a lot of users which don't know a lot about other tools for free .

There are a lot of other and better tools like this one but for free, you like to test your perfomance for SSD Drive then take AS SSD Benchmark, to monitoring your PC stats for example you can take MSI Afterburner + HWiNFO64 and monitoring your stats whithin the games aso...

If you so need in money then sell it for not more then 10 or 15 bucks but not 50, it only a benchmark not more, dont think all users are so stupid, a lot from theese dont have so much money!

What the hell is with the Euro price for this? It's 30% higher than all other regions, even Australia. And don't give me the VAT excuse because you priced it much lower in the UK which has 20% VAT.

There is a free Basic Edition ("Download Demo") and we fully expect most to use just that.

To be honest, you could compare all these "overpriced games" available on Steam, when you can just play some freeware or open source type games instead...

Uh c'mon and this is your marketing strategy, Free Basic Edition. I bet you can't pay your bills for nothing?! I say only - you programmers must not be a money vulture and sell your product for less bucks then 50. Much more people would use and buy your product.

We are not millionaires to buy expensive and overpriced indie games and then buy overpriced tools for benchmarking like this one.

Internet Explorer does not go online. It connects to local sever while PCMark 8 runs the web tests. Feel free to un-plug your network connection during the test (you may have to put Steam to offline mode to do this) and it will run just fine.

Only times online connections are required with Advanced Edition;

- First time after installation (key validation). After first startup this is not needed.
- After the run is complete, if you wish to send the result to 3dmark.com, you obviously need network connection for that.

With Basic Edition you need network connection to view your result (it has only online result viewing option)

He's just informing people that there are cheaper alternatives. I don't understand why that makes you so mad. Obviously whining like a child, regarding someone else's whining, is much more acceptable.

Haven as well as Valley and the others are Great Benchmark testers. You have a choice, if you don't like a product don't buy it, if you want cheap look for freeware.
