Yeah we were on the fence as well truth be told, but we hope you can give us a free pass with Ante Bellum this time ;p (Thank you for calling us out on us though, it keeps us in check)
Like we said at the end of the post in the coming weeks/months we intend to be back to the classic format of "Hey this is a mod you probably haven't heard of you should go check it out"
We don't wanna get trapped in a cycle of showcasing mod updates.
I'd also recommend picking mods that allow discussion on their steam pages. Forcing players to use their discord to provide feedback and learn more about a mod seems like a way to exclude players, especially when not everyone will have a discord, or will want to join the discord group.
What's the point then of the mods spotlight?
Totally useless, is like laughing at the players face.
"Look so many features we shall not include"
"Go play it! BUT WITHOUT ACHIEVEMENTS!"
"You played a lot and did a good job, a shame you gonna get NO ACHIEVEMENTS because don't feel so"
contrary to popular beliefs, you don't need achievements to play a game. I have 3.4k+ hours in Europa Universalis 4, not a single achievement
