This is written in the news released today, in 2023. It's also illustrated with screenshots in the Developer Diary.
Well, that happened historically. You can also, you know, colonise Taiwan as China in game. Or culture-convert kurds and armenians as Ottomans. Should this also be deleted?
I delete comments that are not about the game or the dev diary - but just a constant argumentation going around in circles.
Please be respectful to one another <3
Oh and when are you adding more stuff for North Africa and Mamluks/Middle East?
"The Pre-Russian missions are all conquest-related missions for Russia. Here you get claims on the historical borders of the Russian Empire, but also very ambitious ideas for regions Imperial Russia was interested in. Regions like Ruthenia, the Baltic region, and Poland, but also regions like Scandinavia and the northern parts of Persia are included.
(...)
The “Third Rome” related missions have been integrated from the old mission tree into the new one. There is one highlight to be mentioned though with the mission “Protect the South Slavs”. You can complete it by… liberating the Slavs of the Balkans from the Ottomans. As a reward you will be able to form the Slavic culture group, unifying all Slavs into one cohesive culture group"
You're talking about fictional, ingame events I'm sure.
This would be a possible mission ingame when playing the First French Empire. 🇫🇷
"During the French occupation of Moscow the 1812 Fire of Moscow persisted from 14 to 18 September 1812 and all but destroyed the city. The Russian troops and most of the remaining residents had abandoned Moscow on 14 September 1812 just ahead of French Emperor Napoleon's troops entering the city after the Battle of Borodino. The Moscow military governor, Count Fyodor Rostopchin, has often been blamed for organising the destruction of the sacred former capital to weaken the French army in the scorched city even more."

You seem to be so caught up in modernity that your brain has freed your body.
You have a chance to escape from the present in this game and you waste time on such statements. Above the person noted that if you are so worried about modernity then you should go to war
This is interesting, indeed.
It's already ingame.

The Russian Campaign
Russia is one of the last obstacles to a French hegemony in Europe. We must capture Moscow even if our armies must endure the frozen hell that is Russia in winter.
- France controls Province Moskva
- The event ‘The Fire of [295.GetName]’ happens

The Fire of [295.GetName]
In a shockingly callous tactical move, the rulers of [295.GetName] have set their own city ablaze to slow our advance. Most of the city is now ruined or in flames, the once glorious metropolis reduced to smoking ashes.
- Is triggered only by completing the French mission ‘The Russian Campaign’
- Let it burn.
