You should contact the official tech support in the tech support forum[forum.paradoxplaza.com] or on the paradox support website. Maybe the update went wrong or you have a broken/incompatible mod or an antivirus or ransomware protection software is blocking eu4.

Having problem with my colonists after this patch. I currently have 0/3 colonists, all of them on a "mission". As soon as it change month 1 disapperas so I have 0/2 colonists. Reloading a couple of times and sometimes helps keeping them over a change of month but at the next change of month 1 colonist disapperas again and reload a save does not help.
Reverted back to 1.33 and I loose 2 colonists at the end of the month.

I would say I got them from "Colonial ambitions" in the Swedish Missions and from Ideas "Expansion Idea", the first on in that row. The third I don't know but to loose 2 of them on the exact same date is a bit far stretched.

The swedish mission Colonial Ambitions gives a colonist for 75 years, but as the tooltip for the mission tells you, the colonist is removed if you get a colonist from an idea. So it is totally normal that you lose it when you get the first expansion idea. This happens via a hidden event, so it doesn't happen immediately, but instead the modifier gets removed when the event triggers(it has an MTTH of 1 months) and then the actual colonist is lost on the next month tick.
Maybe I misunderstood you, but didn't you only lose one colonist in version 1.34? Going back to 1.33 makes you lose as many colonists as you had from sources which didn't exist in that version. You might be able to see the source source of the third colonist if you look at the tooltip for your colonists in version 1.34 (it must be an 1.34 save and if it is ironman it must not have been loaded in 1.33)

As of today, propagating religion as a protestant Riga does not work. I have the requirements and get the pop up option, and am even able to select it in the trade menu. However, at the end of every month it says its no longer viable and switches back to maximize profit. I had well over 50% trade power and there were 34 provinces avaliable to convert.

So, you never gonna fix gamebreaking bug that AI declares war using vassal CB and then takes the vassal cores and claims for himself? It's been around for at least a year. Nobody even mentions this, crazy. Even though AI will just white peace if it cannot take cores for itself and instadeclare war again. Nobody saw this? Is anybody actually playing the game or just waiting for more trash dlcs?

Hi, just noticed that AI seems to "overdevelop" future coal provinces which seems kinda odd. I got a 52 development Auvergne (mountains, iron/coal), 38 development Northumberland (swamp, wool/coal) and many others. Is this behaviour intended?

Riga still cant propagate religion correctly it keeps taking it off the node because its invalid even though there are multiple provinces to convert still, and its still the age of reformation.

I believe it is unable to Propagate against Heretic Religions, only Heathen ones. I've seen a note about it somewhere...

That said I TOTALLY agree it should work in all areas. Look, Riga is REALLY wacky to play as, let me also convert the whole of Europe to Protestant with my mighty Traders :D

nice to have an updated program but games in ironman of eu4 are a long time investment. If there are constant modifications that are downloaded, imposed on us by steam, it is impossible to finish any run and takes the fun of playing ii if we have to restart constantly.

you can play on older versions ... there was big problems and they fixed them fast thanks god
