Transferring EU 4 Saves between PCs

I was out at my cottage during the summer this year and had no access to my desktop, so I used my laptop and got some good games going. Now that I can use my desktop again, I'm wondering how to move the saves over. I have tried what I usally do for other games by going into steamapps/common/europauniversalis4 but I didnt see the save file to put onto a memory stick. How can I move the save over?

If you have internet access at your 'cottage', and log in to Steam, it should have your saves in the Steam Cloud as the steam client has it enable by default IIRC.

When you load up EU4, and click on the "Saved Games" tab, you'll see a button at the bottom of that list labelled "Cloud". Click that cloud button and it should show you the games you've been playing that have been uploaded to Steam. Click on the appropriate one & go.

You also want to check and make sure that the 'Save To Cloud' setting is checked in the EU4 options menu, on both computers.

I've been having trouble with this too - I've been saving games to the Cloud from my desktop, but today I tried to fire up the game on my laptop and the only cloud saves were saves I had made from the laptop itself (and yes - I'm positive I'm not looking at Local Saves.) If anyone figures this out, I'd like to know - isn't the point of saving to the Steam Cloud so that you have your saved games no matter where you are?
