Long time ago I used to play Civ2 (I actually had the original disk), and when I was about to conquer the whole world the game ended at year 2000 and wouldn't let me continue, and all I needed is one more week.
Thats the major problem with "time based games", you don't have enough time to finish it.
So I'm very afraid that after investing hours upon hours in this game, I wouldn't be able to finish it.
if so, what's the point of playing?
Since you can also edit the end date, it won't really matter either, as you can force the game to keep going.
Ontop of that, its also supposed to be very mod friendly, unlike the past games, so you should be able to make it go past the end date even easier.
If I'm France or England it's a face roll as they're the easiest nations to play. I never speed 5 though, I don't like missing out on opportunities... and on speed 5 you usually miss out on tiny conflicts you could have jumped in on.
Depends on play, because hundreds of hours over months rocks to me, some like it all at once.
