But how does that work? It gives percentages of what the province is, but all I care about is how it will affect the battle.
For example, Epirus is about 32% Woods, 28% Plains, 19% Grassland, 14% Coastline, and then smaller percentages of everything else.
So I may think that the battle would be in Woods, since it is the majority, however it actually occurs in Plains.
Also, even if it did tell you what it was from the terrain map mode, how would you know how many troops could fit on the battlefield at once without memorizaiton? Like all I know is that Mountains holds 16K and Plains are near unlimited.
Terrain is randomly selected when combat starts. The percentage chance of each terrain type is the same as the percentage of each terrain type present in the province
