Hallo zusammen,

ich spiele als Schweden und habe Norwegen und Dänemark in einer Personalunion.

Das Verhältnis mit dem Kirchenstaat ist auf dem Tiefpunkt. Ich habe ein Embargo über sie verhängt. Beleidgt habe ich sie auch. Dennoch werde ich nicht exkommuniziert und somit kann ich auch die Ereignisskette des Nordischen Glaubens starten.

Wie werde ich exkommuniziert? Kann ich das Ereignis mit dem nordischen Glauben auch anders starten?

Ich besitze das DLC Lions of the North.

Hello everyone,

Becoming norse with the event A Wave of Curiosity is a huge gamble. Even if you do manage to fulfill the conditions(you don't need to be excommunicated if you got the modifier “The Statute in Restraint of Appeals”), the event will have an MTTH of at least 50 years(100 years if you are not excommunicated or don't have religious ideas). But the time window to get the event is usually much shorter than 50 years, because your ruler can die or the age of discovery can end.

A much more reliable way is using the event The Awakening of the Norse Faith[eu4.paradoxwikis.com]. It has an MTTH of only 24 months and there are guides which explain how to reliably fulfill the event conditions.

Then you don't need to be excommunicated. But you will need even more luck. Unless you want to do heavy savescumming, I would recommend to prepare to get animist zealots to scandinavia so that you can get The Awakening of the Norse Faith shortly after the start of the age of reformation. Once you got a norse province from the event, you can convert to norse via rebels

Get an animist province, core it, send a missionary, make sure that the current rebel group has less than 30% progress so that the rebels can change to animist zealots, let the zealots spwan, let them hop to scandinavia. I suggest that you look up some guides which go into detail about how to get the rebels to move to the right place.

Bei mir hat das Event 'wave of curiosity' im 2ten Versuch geklappt. Erfüllt Dein Monarch die Bedingung "sinner" oder "scholar" oder 555?

Nach Wechsel von katholisch zu sunni konnte ich als Andalusia Navrra nicht integrieren. Du könntest mit Deinen Personalunionen das gleiche Problem kriegen.

That's because you can't diplomatically integrate junior partners who have a different religious group. But you can force your religion on your junior partner and then integrate them(if you can handle the +100% liberty desire from forcing religon).
