Europa Universalis : "out of range"
Hello,
starting Europa Universalis lV I read the following text on my screen:

Out of range
H: 99 kHz
V: 120.8 Hz
Range
H: 82 kHz
V: 56-76 Hz

Go to Documents/EU4 folder and edit settings.txt . Set refreshRate=60 , it's probably set to 120.

That doesn't work. Game overrides change, resets refreshrate to 170 on play.

Solution appears to be: rename the settings.txt file as settings.BAK. A new settings.txt file is created, game runs as expected.

[Offered in the hope of helping the next person to search for 'OUT OF RANGE' in this forum.]
