Paradox's next game? Modern age to near future, please.
I just picked up EU 4, even though god knows I don't need another game. But 90% off and I are dangerous. AND, I realized, I can import CK 3 into EU 4, then into Victoria 3, and THEN into Hearts of Iron 4.

The nerdist in me is delighted at the thought of starting with an unwashed minor Irish tyrant in the 9th century, and playing through until I'm a world superpower in the 20th.

So what is needed (maybe not needed, but would be cool), is a game that picks up right after WW 2, and runs through the 23rd/24th century. With the end goal being the founding of the Federation. Then transfer that game to Star Trek: Infinite.

I know it's unlikely. But would it not be cool to start as a petty ruler, and end up defeating the Romulans, through unbroken Paradox games?

Now it's back to dealing with that pesky Holy Roman Empire in CK 3, and prepare to be first to America in EU 4!

We don't know what else paradox might be developing and when new games come out, but they are for sure developing a successor to eu4 which will go from 1337 till 1836. If you want more information, look for "project caesar" on the paradox forums

Once you finish with HOI4, you start a Stellaris game with one of: Prosperous Unification, Mechanist, Post-Apocalyptic, Overtuned, Under One Rule, or possibly even Knights of the Toxic God; as your Origin. You base this off the manner in which you finished your HOI4 game, and this will determine how the following century or two affected the world before you jump back into it.

That is, for all intents and purposes, EU5.

They did not announce the name of project caesar, but it is clear from the dev diaries that it is a successor to eu4 and it is developed by the same studio paradox tinto.

The best devs are on EU5. The game that made them, the flagship in my opinion.
