I don't understand how Colonialism CB work.
So I chose Choko as a war goal thinking I could also take Spanish provinces adjacent to me in south America with the Colonialism CB. But even after I've occupied several of them I could only take Choko in a peace treaty. I don't understand.

That cb will only allow you to take colonies that directly border you. Usually if you hover over a cb when your choosing one in the declare war menu you can figure out what it will let you do.

Just a heads up Colonial wars atm are kinda broken. You are forced to pay full price for a province that you are getting a 90% penalty on, and the colonialism CB limits your options. Therefore, if you want any sort of colonial wars it might be better to put your game on hold and wait for the new expansion that focuses on the new world to come out to see if it improves colonial gameplay.
Ok. Thank you for your answer. I tried to use the Cleansing of Heresy (Deus Vult) CB now which I'm pretty sure I've used in the past to take provinces. I couldn't take a single province I've occupied with that CB.

It says 75% Aggressive Expansion, 200% Prestige and 100% cost for:
-ALL PROVINCES (Apparently not)
-Forced Conversion
Ok. I think I've found the problem

Patch 1.2

- In coalition wars the leader can no longer demand provinces unless those provinces are the wargoal or a core or claim of theirs

Guess who is a coalition leader against Spain -_-
Oh yeah that will do it. I never join coalitions because of that exact reason. Glad you figured it out.
