Anyway thank you for your input anyway, it may help me in the future maybe making mods for Europa Universalis IV :)
In my new game (using EVE) I am trying to ally, marry, and support Bergundy, while hoping for the Iberian Wedding. If I can cut Austria down in size (less than 6 provinces) as HRE Emperor or make them lose the emperorship, I might be able to inherit Burgundy, but it is only 1451 and the game is barely started. Just keeping Austria from getting Burgundy, so far, has made them much weaker than usual. All in all, much different than my usual Castile experience. If I can't inherit Burgundy, maybe I can keep them as a strong ally and try to keep them alive past 1500, when the Burgundy Succession event will stop firing. A strong living allied Burgundy means a much weaker France and Austria, both highly desirable to Castile/Spain.
It looks to me like your (our) best hope for the Iberian Wedding is a Aragon regency, since you can not depend on getting opposite gender Monarchs and/or Heirs for Castile and Aragon. Leaving Aragon alone with no wars to lose prestige in is Castile's best hope at getting Naples via the Iberian Wedding, otherwise Naples will be independent before the Wedding happens. Plus a strong living Burgundy allied to Castile can change northern Italy a lot, particularly in Venice versus Austria (part of keeping Austria weak). Now if I can just marry and ally Savoy for help against both France and Austria! I wonder if I can get the Burgundy dynasty to change to mine without triggering the Succession? I doubt it, but it is another unlikely possibility.
Question, does Aragon still having Naples in a Personal Union have any affect on the chances of the Iberian Wedding happening? It is worth thinking about and watching for. Does the relative size and power of Castile and Aragon have any affect on the Iberian Wedding chances, particularly the conquest of Granada and status of Navarra? I have always had Granada taken care of whenever I got the Wedding event.
