So I just opened the colony idea group with Ottomans and opened like the 4 first ideas but i still cant colonize anywhere and i have an explorer and a conquistador, i even fought with natives somewhere in Africa but i cant colonize. Im in approx. 1550, will i be able to go to Noth America when ill discover it ?... or did i do wrong by trying to create a colony with Ottomans ?... What do you think ?

You'll need a pretty high diplo level to get in range of the Americas.

If you expand south to the Indian Ocean/Red Sea/Persian Gulf you'll have a good shot at it via Africa (the Cape), alternatively you can colonize towards the Spice Islands and maybe go to western America or even Siberia from there.

Madagascar is in range if you can get the Egyptian port(s) on the south.
The ideal would be to stablish a base of operations in Morroco to get in range of the Caribbean/Brazil and to ferry troops there. Ideally you should've done so before the 1500s, as Europpean countries are already getting all the good land there.
At least that's what I did playing as Mamluks/Arabia.

At this point it might be a better idea to colonize downwards towards the Cape. Also remember to invade the Mozambiquean coast, there are a lot of ivory- and gold-producing provinces there. Afterwards getting good bases to steer trade from India and the Spice Islands towards Constantinople node is also a good idea.

Without the african islands or a western european port, you will need to leapfrog into range af Brazil and the caribean, obtaining areas in range and then coring them, so that you can reach the next area. The range increases dramatically as the diplolevel increases.

Alternately you can get a CB through maxing either of the colonization trees and then send an army to conquer the native nations. Or go through Africa as suggested.

You don't *need*, but it is a significantly closer base to launch colonists from. It should allow you to send colonists much earlier than otherwise.
Spice Islands are roughly Indonesian Islands+Borneu and, IIRC, Papua New-Guinea.

1) Your colonial range is calculated from your nearest core. If you have cores in Morocco, you have a very short range to reach Brazil, the Caribean and west africa. Similar to Portugals and Castilles islands of the coast of Morocco. Of course Morocco needs to be in range in the first place, otherwise you can't core the territories. Edit: Without the cores you will need your territories In Greece to be in range, which will happen much later.

2) He means the islands in the Indian Ocean and Indonesia.
