How to get allies to accept a call to arms?
They have +55 and -60. They're friendly and I can't really increase my diplorep any more.

the reasons are endless
Are they at a truce?
Do they consider your alliance a defensive one?
Do they like your enemies more?
Are they at a debt?
Multiple wars?
There are even more reasons than this, if you hover over the numbers you'll see the modifiers

Hover the mouse cursor over the red X in the diplomacy menu where you call them to war and the game will list you every single factor that is influencing the decision. Like with everything else. Some factors you will be able to change, some you won't.

Their only negative is their opinion of the enemy. I would need to increase their positiveness.

Do they distrust or only trust you somewhat? Sometimes your trust value needs to be very high to convince a skeptical ally to join you on your magical warfare adventure.
