Iberian Wedding and Burgundian succession
How come whenever I play France the burgundian Succession never goes off and Burgundy allies Spain so I can't do anything to them? Like come on, and whenever I'm Castile the Iberian wedding fails to happen. But then I play Some other nation and they both go off right at the start of the game .-.

Any reason? or does the universe just dislike me?

Burgundian Inheritance happens in around half of my games(less often these days) and if you are France you can prevent it from happening by being at war with emperor among other less likely things.

Iberian wedding happens a little more often but nowhere near 100% either. You can prevent it from happening by being at war with Aragon and you can help it along by trying to kill off your heir for a female one then killing off your ruler. The main restriction on it is opposite sex rulers or regency in Aragon(but that has a mtth of 10 years instead of 1) so that is why you want to kill.

And yes the universe dislikes anyone who thinks it would care about them.

Burgundian Inheritance happens most of the time, if you are at war with them often. Because it only happens if the king dies without an heir, and that happens only if they fight all the time instead of, yeah you got the point right? :D

Tried it out a few times, and everytime I played France and didnt fight against Burgundy, the king never died. Should be the same with Castille and Aragon.

Every time Burgundy is at war before 1500 there is a chance that an event will fire to kill both the king and the heir. The war going badly for Burgundy increases the chance.

Yeah, what happens is that I completely obliterate burgundy and the army being led by the king... no event, no regency.

Also they tend to ally with Castile which makes it so they obliterate me in war
