How to recrut conquistador or Explorer :-)

Curently i have only have Cristobal Colon :D
Now i started two new Colonis in Guiana, and whiped out Arawark :-)
I know that i need Conqustador to explore New World ?

You will be able to recruit those when you have the second idea of the "Exploration" group, named "Quest for the New World".

A Conquistador works like a general whose army can march into Terra Incognita and thus explore it, an Explorer is to an Admiral what a Conquistador is to a General.

Also it seems Conquistadores/Explorers are more focussed on maneuver than the other stats, at least judging from my own observation.
