Issuing objectives to subjects and allies

This has probably been asked already but i cant find it, how do i issue objectives to my allies in a war with a view to not getting crushed by a doomstack while my allies toss about elsewhere?

My understanding was that perhaps there would be an option for your allies to attack a certain army or province but cant seem to find it, if it even exists.

When you are at war with someone you can click on any of their provinces and there will be a box that says "No Objective" towards the bottom right (right over the trade stuff and under the garrison size). If you click that you can choose any of your allies (or subjects) in that war and it will be marked as an objective for them.

Also if you want, you can siege a province by yourself and transfer it later to another member of the war(its awesome if you have vassals who can core it relatively easy). Just left click on the shield(flag) near "hiring mercenary" button on province menu.
