Hereditary rule HRE without the reform passed.
So I noticed something odd. I am playing France, trying to pass the HRE reforms and I converted to protestant, then converted back. Almost all of Europe is protestant/Reformed.
The league wars never fired and the catholic empire persevered. However, there are no more electors, where the electors should be on the screen, it says "hereditary rule". How is this possible? The reform have hereditary rule has not been passed. Will the electors be there again if I convert them back to catholicism?
I'm confused, because if not, then this campaign is basically over

Jup, once. I added my capital to the HRE, then converted to protestantism and realised I shouldn't have done that. But if it is hereditary now, there is no point in playimg anymore

the electors got conquered, without any new electors being chosen........ You could go for dissolving the empire instead as you only have to occupy lissabon (I think)

I think I will do that, never did that before. For everything's a first right?
