A bit of annoyance about spain treasure fleets.
I did spain cause i wanted to get all the overseas achievements (own india form, 5 colonys or colonize austrilla etf) and there for some reason is one where spain take over as the hre leader.

Now sure i have 140k army ond only own spain and portugal but is anyone else annoyed by the treasure fleets?

I have 5 colonial nations owning all of peru and mexico and im in the process of colonizing the entire carribean with 5 colonists (cause i said ♥♥♥♥ it and went for them) and i must say i would really prefer to have an option to have them or not.

I make like 40+ gold a month and have over 10,000+ atm and to be honest the treasure fleets are just a pain and an extra 500 gold a year just isnt worth the inflation it brings.

I dont need the gold and i cant spend it plus each round from mexico and peru give me a full inflation point.

Its up to about 20 now but its a massive waste.

What do you guys think?

I think trasure fleets are a massive waste since you need to spend so many admin points just to keep it down and the moneys not worth it once you run out of any way to spend it.

Historically Spain and China both went bankrupt because of the Spanish Treasure Fleets which delivered Gold and Silver which the Spanish traded with the Chinese with I think the Treasure fleets are a great idea IMO as I see it from a historical point of view.

they want bankrupt because they sold alot of silver .... then exepcted it to the same price agian after they sold it but it was less ince they arleady had the silver so each time they sold it less profit was made until it cost money to get silver

Would suggest getting something that reduces your inflation and then build Counting Houses(?) to reduce it even faster.

Do the above, and then just ignore inflation.
It really doesn't matter.
As Russia, having no colonies, I had 20+ inflation all game.
♥♥♥♥ it, I'll take 20g a month, and I'll gladly burn in my inflation while I rake in double what anyone else is.

Also, use that gold to build manufacturies, more income = less inflation growth, as well as, who cares, you have money!

Eh, they aren't that bad.
Besides, once they reduce, from what I've experienced, you get monies and stability thrown at you. Once I built a million counting houses and got a reduction advisor I tickled down one every two to three years, thus resulting in after a couple decades, having super low inflation, and having piles of 4k+ thrown at me, as well as some stability.
Maybe they weren't related, but I never had so many so quickly.

Weirdness >.> i havnt gotten a treasure fleet since i conquered all south american nations an all of mexico 30ish years ago now.

Now im soloing a war vs france and a few of his allys for a pu with france after being allied with france the entire game and joining all their wars lol.

Well i should be able to beat him with 180k troops especially since france even though fully formed only has 100k troops.

Woo quantity and annexing all of portugals mainland.
