Polish-Hungarian realtions?

Am I the only one who thinks that Polish-Hungarian relations are a bit silly in the game? These two countries were historical friends, why don't they get this like Portugal and Castile?

Yeah it would be more interesting if that was so. It would be awesome to have Poland always like you at the start and together you can get revenge on Austria! :)

Yeah, far too often Austria and Poland rival Hungary and then split up Hungary in game.

Also Hungary's provinces need some buffs like more base tax and manpower. In 1456, Hungary was able to defeat the Ottoman's at Nandorfehervar. AND Matyas Hunyadi would later fight Bohemia (1468-1478) and Austria (1477-♥♥♥♥)and he had a profesional mercenary army (the Black Army)!

Historically I can't see a lot of alliances between Poland and Hungary - a lot of people are saying it was so everybody is confirming it. Yeah there was friendship meanwhile Casimir the Great's rulership but it was just dynastic, Hungarians began all of those reliefs for Polish noblemans (which were main reason of Commonwealth's fall) but stop butthurting. As I said, there were alliances but I think we cannot compare it to Spain-Portugal relations or Venice/Hospitallers. I think instead of those relations Hungary needs more buffs because it was great power until Jagiellons' rule which were just too much controlled by Habsburgs, and now in 95% of my games it's collapsing and collapsing because Hungary AI is so retarded idk why, it needs balance.

But non stop rivalry with Hungary is also big fake. Yeah as Poland I'm taking Hungary as a rival but historically they weren't, I think everybody knows it.
But EU won't be perfect - it's just not possible imo. There will be always some historical mistakes and unhistorical moves.

I don't say that there was an alliance but as you can read on Wikipedia Poland and Hungary was never at war with each other and were friendly to each other. It would be good for Hungary because then together with Poland+Lithuania+maybe Austria they can defeat Ottomans. Anyway I defeated them alone with Hungary but I had to wait a lot until I had that advanced units and technology.

i like how you say "not wikipedia". You're a douchebag, you do realize wikipedia is where paradox does basically all of their research, right? They have built in wikipedia links in crusader kings 2 lol...

Also, anyone who knows anything about the period depicted in eu4 knows about polish-hungarian relations, and they were very good, seeing as how the day before the game starts in history poland-hungary had basically what poland-lithuania would have, a personal union... 2 separate political entities ruled by ONE man.

Honestly, you should be able to PU Hungary very easily as Poland from day one.
