HRE - How to gain Imperial Authority after Ewiger Landfriede

I am in the year 1538, I stomped 3 Reformation Centers in the HRE and most of the princes are catholic (the last 3 Reformation Centers are in Sweden, France and Scotland). Most princes are free (39 princes) and I enacted "Ewiger Landfriede".

Now I have absolutly no idea how I can get enough IA to get the next two reforms for my deadly vassal swarm?

Can someone give me some tips for that?

The obvious solution is to just wait for France to attack the HRE.

The other option, which may actually be difficult if you've crippled the reformation too hard, is to win the 30 years war and then use the diplomatic action to enforce religious unity. Princes which like you will tend to revert to Catholicism voluntarily at that point, giving a bonus to IA.

One slightly cheaty trick used to be to just spit out a ton of vassals, but that no longer works.

I doubt that even France would attack the HRE at this state in my game. I have allied the Commonwealth, Hungary, Napel, Bavaria, Spain, Portugal, England and Muscovy. I myself am starting to blob (almost all of Ottomans is conquered by me right now).

Well I should have gone for the WC run when it was easy to go through all the reforms a patch back. Seems like this will be an achievement I will never get pft.

I got to 35 IA by atacking France via a guaranteed Scotland and released the last 2 princes he had, attacked Venice to be able to get into a fight with some smaller princes that I could convert and my king finally died and I got that nice 10 IA for being reelected.

I wanted to peace out and get the last 15 IA from adding provinces but the heir of Hungary died so I immediately claimed their throne and attacked to get them under a PU. While I waged war on Hungary and Venice the Evangelical Union fired and now I am stuck for 100 years till the leagues peace out.

Well at least I got Hungary in a PU and now I have time to dismantle France and the rest of the world.
