How to kill your King?

Please, my king is a dumbass and my heir is badass, and i'm currently at peace and poor, i dont want to start a war. So how do you kill your king softly? pls hlp

I spent some time trying to kill mine. Putting him in a boat sinking him in the middle of the ocean. Exposing him to extreme attrition over an extended amount of time. Battles.. I haven't found a method that works. Making him a general doubles the chance of a natural death, but double a small fraction is still a small fraction. On the upside this means he can be used as a kick-ass and immortal general.

I've read there exist a kill-script that can be activated through cheating, but I haven't confirmed it.

I'm currently using ironman, and I'm probably gonna use that sinking boat tactic. is it gonna affect my stability or it counts as natural cause?

Just make sure youre heir is atleast decent otherwise that stab-hit can be unnecessary

Let us know if you're able to kill him somehow. My king was immortal whilst on a boat.

you cant kill a king by sinking him in the ocean. The only way for him to die is by chance. Other then that, you can increase his odds of being killed, but not kill him outright.

damn, sinking ship wasn't successful, maybe i try to have a pretender rebel, and see if that works? caue i really hate my king now, and he immortal as hell

He is playing on ironman so cant use the console

I have no idea if it changed, but patches ago there was a list in the paradox forums that making him leader, assigning him to an army + sending him into battle all will increase the chance to die.

You have to start planning this long in advance. Even putting him in charge of an army will probably on average take 20-30 years to take him out.
