I want the old menu music back
Hello guys,

the "anime-rock-remix" of "The Voyage" that plays now when you start the game up annoys me and it doesn't fit to the game in my opinion.
I looked in the Ingame option but I found no way to tell the game there to use the good old Menu Music "The Voyage".
Is there a way to get the game to play the original "The Voyage" in the menu and loading screen without reverting to an older patch?

"Anime-rock-remix" who calls it that and how is it remotely anime? Also doesn't it only play if you bought the one music Guns, Drums and Steel pack? If so just disabling that DLC should do it.

If you do mean the remix from Guns, Drums and Steel you can just disable it, or, if you want to keep the other songs from the DLC, replace the remixed song with the original one in the DLC folder.

The song is called "maintheme" in the folders. Original is in "Steam\SteamApps\common\Europa Universalis IV\music", and the songs from the DLC are in "Steam\SteamApps\common\Europa Universalis IV/dlc/dlc031.zip/music".

Might also be enough to just rename or remove the remix in that folder.
And if you want to go even further you can edit the songs.txt file to have it play the songs you like.

You shouldn't have bought the Guns, Drums and Steel music pack. It's a shame that someone actually took the time to help you, when you were so insulting in your original post.
