How to get princes to be in favor of a reform?

I have enough authority, but it won't let me pass one because only 4 princes are for it, even though it would benefit everyone. How do I get more people to like it?

Well...Find any country that has unlawful territory of the empire...And demand it released and go to war to release it..U get 5 imperial authority per prince being released. Oh and this can work on other princes that counquered other princes.

I already have enough authority; nobody in the empire wants it passed so it won't let me do it.

The prince crests in the HRE page show why they are for/against the reforms so you can see it in detail there.

In general though get relations up, release the smallest countries since economical power is a penalty against supporting and gets you a country with positive modifers to towards you, get rid of overextension, force countries to convert to your religion, ally countries, get diplomatic reputation up, get more IA.

The higher your imperial authority, the more princes in favor, you can get authority by honoring war calls, reclaiming HRE lands, and adding new provinces to the empire

You can also bribe and increase relations with the smaller nations, as they tend to be easier to sway. Having the same culture and religion also helps. Remember to check on how opposed countries are to the reform by hovering over their flag in the Empire view, and start bribing the ones that oppose the least.
The most reliable way, tho, is to accumulate that sweet sweet IA. All dem dukes love an Emperor with IA.

PS: If the reform is Revoke the Privilegia, make sure you get all the countries in favor. Any country that opposes will leave the HRE and you won't get its vassalage. You can take your time bribing everyone, as the next reform will be unanymous anyway, as they are all your vassals.
