I love all the DLC. It's not "meaningless" at all to me.
-- The games get dumbed - down , as the game company tries to expand beyond its boutique demographic.
-- Improvement is a new game company.
There are a few exceptions.
But they are a few exceptions.
Here take the jester.
Amen!!!
From 1444 to 1720 I kept the ArchBishopric / Electorship of Mainz on life support , first because I think Bishoprics are cool , even though I don't want to play one ,
but also because the uniform for Mainz in the 18th Century , in the picture of The Rights of Man Content Pack , was really cool.
Come to find out that at least 50 other nations use that SAME uniform model. :(
Indeed , my own Luneberg uses that SAME uniform model. :(
-- But in a different color . :)
Grrrr.
Well , it is a cool uniform .
So I'm not sorry I bought that DLC.
I still think it needs to happen sooner rather than later though. EU4 has pushed its engine to its breaking point and there are a lot of features players want that devs have said is completely impossible (dynamic trade nodes, for instance). They should absolutely continue to make EU4 DLC with what they can up until they announce EU5 though.
