how do i find the save game files everything online says there is a folder but i can't find it

i've checked where it said and all through the game files and can't find anything, i don't have a steam file in my program files or anything

Did you use cloud saves in eu4 or not? If you used cloud saves, the saves are in a steam folder, but where this folder is located depends on where you installed steam on your system and how you configured steam.
If you didn't use cloud saves, eu4 will store the files in a subfolder of the Documents folder like it is described on the wiki. Where your Documents folder is depends on how you configured your operating system. But if you created a file userdir.txt in the folder where eu4 is installed, eu4 will use the folder which is written in that file instead of "Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis 4"

i found it by just searching for the name of the save through my whole computer in the files search bar lol
