Achievement Bug - Gothic Invasion

I think the description for this achievement is buggered.
It should say 'As Theodoro' not 'Start as Theodoro'
As far as I can figure out from a few posts way back when, you cant change nation. And yes this was found out from first hand experience. -_-

You are reading way too much into the steam description of the achievement. They are often wrong, misleading or incomplete. In this case, the description is correct, but incomplete. You have to start as Theodoro. Just being them is not enough so "As theodoro" would be an even worse description. You don't even have to be Theodoro yourself, because the achievement just requires that your primary culture is gothic and Theodoro owns all germanic cultured provinces in Europe. You can achieve that after forming another country by bringing theodoro back or by culture converting all germanic provinces to some other culture.

If you want better information about the achievements, have a look at the achievements list in the wiki[eu4.paradoxwikis.com]. The "Starting conditions" column specifies what you need to start as(in addition to the requirements for most achievements which are listed on the top of the page). And the "Completion requirements" column lists the conditions that you have to fulfill at the moment that you get the achievement.

Note that if no province in the world has a Germanic culture, that also works for Theodoro. So if a German culture nation controls all German culture provinces forms the Roman Empire, all German culture transmutes to Roman. Just an amusing little side test I ran now.
