Good way to get a sense of the game? LP?

I play CKII quite a bit and I've been interested in EUIV for a while. I kind of understand the differences, but I would like to get a better sense of the game. The things I have looked at so far had a number of rather unclear values mentioned (naval force limit for example) so I'm honestly not sure what I'd be stepping into yet.

I've been enjoying some LPs for CKII so I figured something like that might be useful - Could anyone give a recomendation on that? I'd be happy to hear about anything else that might help as well.

From my personal opinion, watch lets plays rather. In that way its much easier to get the way of thinking required for this kinds of games then lps, I find lps mostly helpful to better understand certain aspects wich are hard to grasp such as trade. And of course play the game, experience is the best teacher.

Agreed with both of these youtubers. Both have some great LP's on EUIV, so are definately worth considering. I'd say Quill perhaps is a bit better for a new EUIV player to start with, but mainly because he often goes into a bit more detail of what his plans are. His current Burgandy into Netherlands LP is a good example of this
