I give as few privileges as possible now even if it’s the Age of Discovery, I prefer to give Monopolies instead of the “10% loyalty and 10% influence” privilege, I also stopped giving the cheaper advisors privilege once I am economically healthy enough.
Most of them dont show serious gameplay though and make questionable decisions. I watch some of them for fun, but i wouldnt suggest learning from them. The only one that can really teach you stuff is Florryworry and then only if you are interested in breaking the game with high skilled gameplay.
You taking as much land as possible is the right decision, you always want to be at least at 75% crownland when absolutism hits.
