Religious Zeal?!

I really wish there was an option to deal with thiss stupid religious zeal modifier. Like convert or gtfo - that happened in history after all! After dealing with this damn thing, i can even symathise with rulers that had a convert or die policy... (yes just in the game, but still)

Don't care if that drops the province value or whatever, waiting 20 years till i can finally convert them and end the disaster seems like such a waste of time (requires 90% converted provinces - i convert in ~4 months, but they have this stupid modifier)!

Any way to deal with this disaster (except waiting 20 years for the modifier to drop) would be appreciated...

Sorry bout venting, solved the problem by going on a conquest spree (as ottomans, yes my ottomans are protestant now, former catholic, former orthodox, former sunni ^^ - and soon HRE Emperor!) and releasing some vassals with the wrong religion.

yes, but completing a new skill group would take about the same time... Good thing to keep in mind for the next time i have to convert a big empire.
