Isabella of Castile
Been through 7 plays with Castile from 1444 to 1510 without this event firing or the Iberian Wedding firing, and I'm getting tired of it. It shouldn't be this hard.

In every game I start Aragon rivals Castile - Is this the reason why it dosn't trigger?

I've found these notes: http://www.eu4wiki.com/Women_in_History_events - But what do I type in the console to make the Isabella event trigger, so I at least have a chance for the Iberian Wedding to trigger.

You need to have a female heir or ruler as Castile I believe and there's a percent chance every month you'll get it.

if they have a female heir and you have a female heir it won't trigger if i remember correctly. and it should have a trigger if they have a female ruler and you have a male ruler/heir... if i'm remembering this right.

I know about the female ruler in either Castile or Aragon, it's all descriped in the link I posted, but in all my playthroughs I haven't seen any female rulers in boths countries.

All DLC's is on, includeing women in history - And Songs of yuletide is also installed, so it isn't that bug.
So I've given up now, and is looking for the phrase to type into the console to trigger "Isabella of Castile".

I went back and checked: I got the Iiberian Wedding event as Castile in Dec 1461, and on my previous saved game July 1461 Castile and Aragon were mutual rivals, i,e, they were enemies as well rivals on on the Diplomatic status screen. This happened to me on 6/12/15 (i.e. 12 Jume 2015) so I think it would probably have been patch 1.12.1 which was released on 6/12/15, although it might have been patch 1.12.0. I did not get Isabella as a ruler until about 1496, and I still have her in 1451 when she is 76 years old.
Try looking at Wiki on Castile, it discusses the Iberian Wedding.
Have you tried making Aragon a rival?
I remember a game from over about a year and a half ago, where I (Castile) had taken several provinces from Aragon and yet I still got the Iberian Wedding, that was EU4 before COP.
You should not need Isabella to get the Iberian Wedding, just one ruler to be male and the other ruler to be female according to the Castile Wiki.
If you are playing Aragon, I think you can also get the Iberian Wedding event, so if you want to keep Aragon's Ideas rather than get Castile/Spain's Ideas you can just not form Spain.
I probably did not have Women in History active or installled when I got the Iberian Wedding, perhaps Women in History changed things about the Iberian Wedding event.
You might want to check the bug fix and changes list for beta 1.13, there may have been some changes to the Iberian Wedding in 1.13.
Try turning Women in History off and see if you can get the Iberian Wedding.

I remember seeing something about fixing an bug where Isabell was not considered part of the Trasamara dynasty. It might have been in beta 1.13 change list.

I've only tried playing as Castile during those 7 runs. And yeah I rivaled Aragon every time also.

I've read wiki regarding Castile, spanish events and wiki women in history events - It should trigger because acording to those I have the requirements fulfilled.

I haven't tried playing with women in history turned off - I'll try that tomorrow.
Maybe Paradox changed something in the beta patch.

I haven't quite worked out what to type in the console yet. Have tried different things, but dosn't seem to work. Haven't used the console, so aren't really that experienced with event codes.

Oh and meant the requirements for "Isabella of Castile" event.

The Iberian Wedding can't trigger, as I haven't seen any female rulers for either Aragon or Castile in those 7 runs. It won't trigger without a female ruler.

Look at the forum post "I just got Burgundy (as Castille)" from July 1, it talks about a problem with Isabel and female rulers as well beta 1.13 fixes, it might help you

Made 2 more playthroughs with the women in history turned off as suggested. Neither Isabella of Castile or the Iberian Wedding triggered.. I've given up playing as Castile now.

You can always get Aragon by forming Spain diplomaticly (Aragon would have to a vassal) which saves on the cost to annex/integrate a vassal, or to save on the cost to core conquered provinces. Spain can also be formed militarily. But both ways to form Spain require Admin TL 10 which you won't get until the mid to late 1510s.
