Super Quick Question: Great Projects in Crown Colonies

If I invest in Great Projects in my colonies do I/we get the benefit or does it just affect the colony?

Your colonies get the benefit. If a great project will benefit the mother country, it will say so on the tooltips. Currently, I think there's only one that does, but I haven't looked in a while either.

Yeah, only one Great Project benefits a nation's overlord, and that's ?Boriken's? (+30% Naval Forcelimit iirc). A couple of others (Potosi, Versailles and Tower of London) can provide benefits if the owner's overlord has done something but not to the overlord itself.

You'll need to perform colonial shenanigans to directly control New World projects. Only one or two of them are really worth it. The Mayan duo I find especially gratifying to have, as well as Inukshuk in Canada.
