War of protestant league FIX IT.

I am so tired of having this event fire and EVERY SINGLE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time i cannot enter it because im truced up with someone on the opposite side.

I have only ever had this event fire for me ONCE. Every other time it fires and im stuck on the sidelines watching all the fun disappear from this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

FIX THIS ♥♥♥♥. This event should be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unavoidable if your protestant or reformed. Like a stellaris end game crisis or war in heaven.

There's no reason the war should be unavoidable- if only because if it were, the forums would be flooded with people demanding that it be 'fixed'.

Have you tried not avoiding wars when the Leagues form? Or at least being very careful that you don't get into any wars that involve people from the other side? It shouldn't be too hard to make sure you get called in.

But with all DLCs, the league war is not triggered by an event(I thought there might be event based leagues without the DLC, but I can't find such an event right now). You can just enter the protestant league even if you have truces with the members on the catholic side. And the truces also don't prevent you from joining the actual war. AFAIK the only thing which prevents you from joining the war as a league member is if you are already at war and this would result you or another country being at war with the same country in two wars or being at war with a country which is on their side in another war. But you can easily prevent it by not going to war or by becoming the leader of the protestant league and then declaring the league war yourself.

No, without Art of War there are no Leagues and no League War.

And yes, truces do no matter, you can always join either League, change League or leave League. Once the war starts (and it ONLY starts by Protestant League leader declaring League War), everyone, who are able on both Leagues, will automatically join it.

Of course you can not join the war if you are already in war against your own league members. This can be useful if you are Protestant League leader and other league has some large members (Ottos, France, Russia), you can start the League war when they are already in war with their league member, then they can not join.

It is not an event. Once the Leagues form, you need to join one of them. Then the protestant league leader declares the war (or does not declare it at all if the protestant league feels too weak). Your religion has no effect, you can join Catholic League as Protestant, as Muslim, as Orthodox, as Reformed. if you want to. Or join Protestant League as Catholic, as Muslim, as Orthodox, as Reformed.

I had another look and found the other leagues without Art of War[eu4.paradoxwikis.com] which I was thinking about. But they don't cause a league war.

How are you trying to enter the league war? Are you aware that the leagues get formed after the event The Evangelical Union[eu4.paradoxwikis.com](you should get a popup about it) and you can join the leagues by clicking on the button with a cross on it on the top of the league list in the HRE window?Usually you have a few years between the formation of the leagues and the declaration of the league war.
Or are you trying to enter the war after it started by enforcing peace on the war leader or by using the great power action to intervene?
