Hisn Kayfa

I just finished a Hisn Kayfa run where I got the achievements Saladin's Legacy, The Eagle flies alone, and finally This is Persia.

And the funny part is while I had spent a few decades taking the provinces for This is Persia I had missed that I also needed Cyprus so in 1705 when I thought I had my last achievement for the run I didn't. They were just an OPM though so I prepared for war and then noticed they were gauranteed by my ally Burgundy (who only had provinces in northwest Europe).

I checked to see if I could get them into a small way somewhere else so they couldn't interfere but...no go. Since I really didn't want to fight another war though I noticed I could vassalize Cyprus instead and annex them and I believe that was the better choice. 10 years of the game on max speed runs a lot faster then trying to invade Burgundy from the Balkans.

Seemed a dumb move by Burgundy TBH to guarantee them. I was the only power by this point likely to attack Cyprus and we were solid allies.
