League of Cambrai War
I started a game as the Papal State at the War of the League of Cambrai start date and have found that I am not a part of the war. I also have no allies in the diplomacy window (or any diplomatic relations) on the start screen when I left my game to start again. Is there any way to fix this? Maybe an earlier start? Thank you.

Funnily enough, if you tick up the start date to December 10, 1509, you are a part of the war.

The earliest start date to be a part of that war is March 23, 1509. Perhaps there is a way to ally from the original start listed in the game (December 10, 1508), but I haven't a clue.

And France is in charge of the war so Venice gets out of it by April 1510 by "conceding defeat" with the war score at 32%. Great war ...

no one really plays from those dates ... its kinda just a nice little read and look on what the world looked like at those dates , cause if you dont play your country itll most likely be weak

Is there a Form League of Cambrai event? I have read that there is. If so, am I correct in assuming that it would only fire from a start date earlier than 1508, say if I started a game in 1505 or so? My third question is, if the war event fires, as the Papal State would I be in control of the war? Thank you.
