Im assuming it switches your ideas to Prussian when you form the nation?
I mean, I'm not complaining, just wondering if anyone else has had this happen. And yes, you get the event to switch to Prussian Ideas as well. Theocratic Prussia may seemingly be best Prussia.
Now we're just talking crazy talk with that idea.
The only disappointing part about this is that I don't think I can get the Goosestep achievement in this run because I can't get Absolute Monarchy to add discipline to get up to 125%. Maybe I can get rebels later in the game to flip me so I can finish up that Achievement as well.
EDIT: Nvm, just need to take economic and quality later on in the campaign to get an extra 5% out of a policy. Should put me at 125 with Prussian ambitions, Church Power Discipline raise, Offensive and Quality.
i stampeded over everybody without taking care about AE-quantity,quality,defensive ideas and the prussian ideas where to much for my neighbours.
eat up scandinavia "2/3 of russia, then vasalized them, big parts of hungary and when i stopped about 1730 i was thinking about forming germany for fun-standing deep inside the hre
they cant do anything.i have a AE level of hundreds with nearly everyone in europe and they stopped forming coalitions...
got boring
Brandenburg, Teutonic Order, Riga, and Livonian Order can all form Prussia. Brandenburg can for historical reasons, and the other three can because their primary culture is Prussian. Even though LO has no provinces with their primary culture. According to the wiki, Saxon and Pomeranian nations can also form Prussia. You just have to control certain provinces, be Protestant or Reformed, and have tech 10 admin.
The benefits from non-monarchies include but are not limited to:
1. No regencies, you'll always be able to attack. This is especially helpful when you need to exploit a larger nation's moment of weakness.
2. No PUs, you never have to worry about becoming a subject nation.
3. No legitimacy, Imho legitimacy is much harder to maintain than RT or Devoutness.
4. Republican sufferance, Republics get passive bonuses making them more stable and less prone to massive rebellions.
