Capital change & colonial nations
Well here I am getting screwed by Paracocks once more..
As I read in many articles, when you change capital overseas.. any existing colonial nations remain so, but any new colonies formed will go directly to you as long as its mainland is connecting to your new capital.

I'm playing Portugal and it's year 1530.. I managed to have 4 colonies on each section of the new world. After selling up old world props and moving to Honduras new capital.. my new colony in Peru suddenly changed to colonial nation.

So this leaves my last option to enjoy colonial style EU4 gaming for now..
My other alternative is to disable all DLC until before the conquest of paradise.. but I need a beta patch which doesn't include any of those dumb updates that have recently come.

Which comes to my question.. I don't see any in my steam BETA options.. can someone recommend me a manual BETA code to type in or is that purchasable or what?

you don't need a code just use the opt in and pick the one you want.
I tried.. I typed 1.3.2 since it was the latest one before conquest of paradise.. and it says under the type box "Beta access code invalid"
If you do a capital migration as a Western nation, only the continent you move to will count as normal provinces. I switched from Ireland to Canada, Portugal to Brazil, and Brittany to Carribean and in all cases this proved true. Capitals from Panama north to Canada make north american provinces cores/south american provinces colonial and capitals from Darien south to the cape of storms do the opposite.
Yes unfortunately only option is to find a way to beta patch to 1.3.1 or 1.3.2 and disable conquest of paradise.. but in my steam options i don't have 1.3.2 and i'm trying to find an answer online but no solution yet
