The Imperial Ban CB can be used by the Emperor against any nation holding HRE provinces after passing "Call for Reichsreform." The Imperial Campaign CB only applies to Burgundy as one possible result of the Burgundian Inheritance Imperial Incident. Mechanically, however, I think they're identical in terms of the peace demands you can make at the end of the war.

Followup edit: the wiki is wrong about the Imperial Campaign CB. I can attack Poland with it as the French HRE Emperor, which has nothing to do with Burgundy. The mechanics are identical, to Imperial Ban, though--same percentage costs and possible peace terms. The only real difference is that the Ban's wargoal is a specific HRE province while the Campaign's wargoal is the enemy capital.

Ban can be used when an enemy holds a HRE province

Assuming you have passed enough reforms, there is also the "Extend Empire CB", which can be used either when they hold a HRE province, or they are small enough to be added to the Empire in a single peace deal.

I had the same experience as Marquoz. I recently did a Denmark -> Scandinavia -> HRE run for the achievement. As emperor I could attack Poland with the imperial campaign cb since they held some of the Teutons' lands.

The war goal. Spain holds Siena that is HRE clay. imperial ban the focus is to occupy Siena. imperial campaign the goal is to occupy Spain Capital. Depends of the situation you can use the CB in your favor to get more warscore.
