Does this happen on a specific save or also when you start a new campaign? Can you post the exception.txt from the crash?

it happens on a cloud save, where can i found the exeption.txt file? thanks
I'm having the same problem! I play on macbook OS and EU4 on the latest version always crashes when I'm a few years into a game. I'm unsure why and I've been having this problem since 1.36.
Same with me playing on macbook OS, it keeps crashing almost always around the year 1520.

It is in the subfolder of your crash in "Documents/Paradox Interactive/Europa Universalis IV/crashes"
This is what my Exeption.Txt file says, please advise if you can:

There is a known crash on macOS which happens for some people in many cases when the AI forms a new country

But the AI should not be able to form a new country so fast. Are you playing with mods? Otherwise an excception.txt might be interesting.
Ahh ok, is there a way to fix it?

A crash in malloc is not what I would have expected. That|s a system function to allocate memory. How much RAM do you have and how much of it is available before starting eu4 and how much is available just before the crash?

This crash is from yesterday. Was this really a 1520 ingame crash? Or maybe a special situation?
22.38 GB prior to starting and looks like its says 20.22 GB before crashing, shouldn't that be more then enough?
No, I tried it mutiple times. Had been playing as Great Britain with no issues until it got to the year 1526 then it crashed. Tried again, same thing. Went back to earlier say and no issues until again, 1526 it crashed.

Yes, this should be more than enough. Does this crash still have the same functions in the exception.txt?
I believe so yes.
