Restore the Danelaw region to Danish rule, and make it Danish culture.

Wich provinces do i need to convert and wich do I need take?

to give an answer, the achievement isn't implemented ingame yet, so there is no list of needed provinces. Will be avariable with 1.7

Most likely England, Normandy and possibly the isle of mann, Norway and Sweden, besides Denmark.

I would say you probably need Cumbria, Northumberland, Yorkshire, Derby (Where I live so it is clearly the best), Norfolk and Essex.

I looked in an old history book of mine and that shows some territory in Oxfordshire so you make need to take Oxfordshire as well.

I'm doing this at the moment so i'll let you know what I took to get it when/if I do it. :)

In the region map mode is only mentioned, that Norfolk, Lincoln, Yorkshire and Northumberland are part of the danelaw region. I'm only missing to culture convert Northtumberland at the moment. But well takes forever :D

aaaaaaand got my achievement. Well i wasn't that smart too and used the map of wikipedia and converted near half england.... After that i thought well isn't it mentioned on the region map mode :D And it was :D So i can confirm, that northtumberland is 100% for the achievement. The rest i don't know, because i converted half england... But i think the 4provinces will be enough

but how to find the actual needed provinces without anything in the mapmodes ?

I could find
246 = "Northumbria"
from grepping in common/Europa\ Universalis\ IV/common/province_names/*
but nothing for the other numbers.

You need to own and core Yorkshire, Northumberland, Lincoln and Norfolk.

And change the culture to Danish ,.

If you open up the achievement browser, it says exactly the four provinces you need. Northumberland, Lincoln, Yorkshire, Norfolk. Cored and Culture converted to Danish.

I did 80% of this achievement last night in 90 minutes. Did take me a second try however. First attempt I got 2 -25 legitimacy events which made me lose Sweden. (One of the events also made Sweden a historical rival, which did not help Liberty Desire)

Improve relations with Sweden right from the start. no-CB war Ulster...vassalize. I got lucky as England got into two massive wars with Burgundy, France, and Scotland at the same time and Burgundy managed somehow to get troops on the mainland. I got pulled in on the France war. I nabbed London and Pale which was a lot of warscore, so France actually gave me Norfolk, which is one of the four needed ( I didn't have a claim, but I did indicate that it was of vital interest to me). Burgundy also released Northumberland as its own nation which I immediately attacked and got two more of the required provinces. I just need Lincolnshire and wait for all the separatism to go away to culture convert for the achievement. I have Sweden at about 37% LD. So I have to behave for another 10 or so years to start Integrating Norway & Sweden...but I may not Integrate Sweden as they are so nice to have around. Haven't decided yet.

I also had two regency councils on the second playthrough...although one was only 2 years, but the second which I am still in will total 10 years...Which figured, as the heir that took over from the two year regency was a 4/5/6. The new heir is a 0/3/0...
