How to get a coalition against AI?

This includes the achievement (Grand Coalition), I've been trying to do this for two days now, how on earth do you force it or which countries tend to get coalitions against them easily?

There is also an event for a coalition against france, which includes castille, austria and some other. Maybe you can exploit that.

iirc its England/GB but youll still need 50 AE and them accepting the decision plus another country for the achievement.

Alternatively you could ally some HRE minor, feed him provinces, make them break the alliance and join a coalition against them.

How do I feed provinces since the damn little countries won't take them unless they have a claim on them?

When and how exactly do I get this event, because I played Spain especially for that reason, but I either missed it or it never came, because I played from 1444 to 1700 and after that I ragequit!

If you own art of war (i think) you can give them the sieged provinces thus giving them in the peace deal

Yup I do own it, but that's the thing, they won't accept the provinces, I don't have an ability to select the province in a peace deal if it's sieged by the other guy who doesn't have claim on it. The page says "*country* won't accept this, because they have no claims on it"

I think this is one of the most difficult achievements now because there are no guides, no tutorials, nothing that could help me achieve it. Except... John Cena!

I did it in a brandenburg run where france annexed the netherlands completely from austria.

So maybe just play until you get it.

Had an idea: start as Brandenburg, wait for poland to fabricate on neumark, ally them and attack TO.
Now take danzig, neumark and everything else they claimed so they break the alliance and hate you. Now get them to attack you and cede most of your lands to them.

Tada everyone should hate them now and a coalition should form. Only problem might be surviving the rebels until the truce ends.

Will try Brandenburg and an alliance with France, gonna feed France like a overweight little girl eating all the candies on Christmas. Unienda et Impera! (or something)

Coalition was forced as usual, but the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ truce takes 15 years!! In that time the aggressive expansion will be less than 50 and I won't be able to make it into coalition. And even if I have 50 AE, other nations will have less than 50, so I will be the only one in coalition. So messed up achievement.

I think Paradox ruined this otherwise easy achievement with their constant updates. Only way to do this now is via some sort of mission or event, which I have no clue of happening any time.

Edit: Just an idea, next DLC or update could make countries to start war against other countries, not just yours for example via espionage, like blackmailing or forging papers.

Do you? The event doesn't say so and i can't remember that you need it.

It's the "Forming the League of Augsburg" event. As far as i can see, all countrys, who have more than 10provinces, are not allied with france, have a specific culture (see event), is not at war, has more than 75 can form the coaltion.
And after it's formed all christian countries with more than 10provinces and not allied with france are able to join it.

So make sure to have 1strong country with high prestige around (at best you, to make sure to form it) and many small ones with 10provinces and make sure to break all alliances.

I have wondered about this, if you start a coalition against another state, will others join, or do they have to be forced with this sort of skulduggery all the time?
