Female Heirs
Hey playing as Lotharingia and I want to go for the achievement 'Mary of Lotharingia' which requires you to have a female ruler. Is there any way to increase the chances of getting a female ruler?

From Reddit:
When Charles, the heir of your starting ruler, dies while being the ruler of burgundy you get Marie of burgundy by event
As for increasing chances of a female heir, you don't.

Just disinherit as much as possible, hoping to get a female heir, or if you get an event to take a female heir, (obviously) take it.

Female heirs seem to be currently bugged. It seems you can only get them from events now. The most common ones are "Newborn Daughter" and "Talented and Ambitious Daughter"[eu4.paradoxwikis.com]. You will get them eventually if you disinherit all your male heirs.

Bugged for most countries, if you accept the descision in the HRE to allow female Emporers, the person with Emporer title seems to be able to get female heirs naturally.

Your regent also counts - so just marry into countries with the Marie name available and then disinherit/kill off rulers until your wife is the regent. It's a bit cheesy but it will work.

or play a custom nation that way you can increase heir chances and ive even seen some female related thing like being able to recruit female generals so maybe also for heirs ? hell you could just start whit a queen and a female heir from the start if you like

The achievement "Mary of Lotharingia" doesn't allow any custom nations and there is no custom nation idea which changes the chances of female heirs.
