Buff Turkey?
Is it possible to strengthen Turkey? Compared to Persia, the gameplay for the Ottomans is NOT playable. And developers, please allow Turkey to change its form of government.I would really like to see Turkey strong, please think about it and thank you in advance

Persia needs to spend very little time and effort to get its bonuses, while at the same time the Ottomans need to go through HELL for the sake of Western pips. And then during this time the Ottomans can be killed 300 times. And still, even with Western pips, this doesn’t really help the Ottomans

The only thing you cannot compare are two identical objects. Otherwise, you can compare absolutely everything: France with a pen if you wish. You'll list differences and common points, that's what comparing is all about.
And Ottomans' missions are great and powerful. Persia ones got better with King of Kings but you still need to form it and it's easy to prevent that formation if you're around the area.

Now, as mentionned, if you play multiplayer, well, that's how it is. I'd be a small nation I'd do everything to beat the players' with the big ones as a first objective. Considering how easy it is to grow bigger when you're a big country, making those players the first target is just mandatory.

Imagine playing as the Ottomans and not being able to win.

To be fair, he's speaking about what sounds to be competitive multiplayer, which has a very different meta and playstyle than single player does. Every war against another player is essentially a deathwar, with hundreds of thousands if not millions of casualties in the 1500's alone. And you cannot simply overwhelm a skilled player with your superior knowledge of game mechanics like you can the AI. Even if you do manage to overpower your neighbors, players aren't bound by AE mechanics like the AI to form continent-spanning coalitions against other players that are becoming too powerful. Army quantity and quality buffs, as well as stacking modifiers to reduce development cost for when your opportunities for expansion inevitably run dry, are everything in a competitive MP campaign.
