How to increase limit monarch points?
I currently have 999 military power but need over 1000 to get the next military technology. What do I need to do?

Spend them on other things for now. Your too far ahead of time. When it ticks over to january it'll decrese in cost.

Usually, you want to pick some idea from group, where you are ahead of time to compensate increased cost of next tech and have something to spend poinst :)

Also, you can spend that points to buildings, if you have some cash.

Expanding more also gets rid of monarch points. Admin points for coring, diplo points for the peace treaty, and military points for harsh treatment.
