Synthetics Crashing Game

Trying to fight off the Synthetic invasion, but game keeps crashing. Set up a scenario with custom nation to try hold off the invasion, anyone know a workaround/why or the event that's causing it?

Last time I checked, there was a crash if the synthetics acquired subjects by fully annexing a country. The problem is that the synthetics can do that without a peace deal and then they stay at war with their new subjects and some part of the game can't handle that. IIRC, the crash didn't immediately happen and needed something else to trigger it.
If you got the same crash, you can probably avoid it by either preventing the synthetics from getting subjects or by letting the synthetics annex their subjects

Did you make the custom nation mayan and give them (cavalry) fire modifiers to fight them with dinosaurs and exploit the fire weaknesses of the synthetics, or are you trying to beat them the hard way?

The semi-hard way.
Custom nation in europe, was going to RP something like the Polseen war.
Spawned them next to China, started in spain as a nation was wholly geared to economy, fort defense, fort maintanence, manpower and a little Diplo/PP.
Was going to try rush Italy and Spain since easily defendable with forts.
Anything else depended on how fast the came.

Doesnt matter anyway, since it keeps crashing :(
